Beatty (..) is terrific, and if his painfully stilted rap attempts irritate, this is precisely the point - here's a man burned out, beyond caring, prey to any and every persuasive external force.

"Bulworth" plays like a cry of frustrated comic rage.

At best, a vision of a sincere fantasy world in which Clinton's sheepish Lewinsky admissions are re-written by Howard Stern...

Beatty's contribution to the ranks of recent political satire is bold, merciless and frequently very funny, and his performance is just plain fearless.
