Deadly 60

Steve is in South Africa, home to a huge number of animals on the Deadly 60. However, big predators aren't what Steve is here for, as he's exploring the plight of the rhino.

Setting sail to the magical island of Bali, Steve and the team are out to find the elusive ocean sunfish. These deep ocean giants feed on poisonous jellyfish and ascend to the shallows for a spa session at a cleaner fish station.

Steve heads to the incredible Loango National Park on the western coast of Gabon and home to some awesome Deadly predators. First up, Steve heads out onto the waterways in search of the small but deadly dwarf crocodile.

Steve starts his South African adventure in one of the weirdest places he's ever gone looking for animals, a power station, in the dark. He's staking the location out for a little big cat that has so far eluded the Deadly 60, the serval.

Steve and the team head to the remote island of Isla del Plata which has the largest congregation of giant manta rays in the world. Working with one of the world's top manta scientists, Steve heads off to try and dive with these majestic giants.

Steve gets strangled by a python on a night-time river expedition, climbs a 40-metre tree and finds out why our thirst for palm oil is threatening bears and orangutans.

The rainforests of Ecuador are some of the most diverse on earth. Brimming with all kinds of unique and weird species that are found nowhere else, and some of the most deadly animals on earth lurking in the shadows.

Steve and the crew travel 4,000 miles to the Loango National Park in Gabon. Steve heads out into Loango's maze of rivers on a mission to try and find an animal that is critically endangered but packs a mighty punch, the western lowland gorilla.
