I have the awful feeling that it will be Bannon’s followers and others with his particular mindset who will wind up embracing this film the most.

The film feels rather like listening to the arsonist calmly explain why he set the fire as we continue to watch it rage.

It's not that Bannon lies, or dissembles, or deflects, or indulges in his own self-delusions. It's how he does them, when he does them.

If you see just one Steve Bannon doc, make it Errol Morris’ deceptively polite American Dharma.
