And although some people may think MMA fighters are just tough guys (and women) without emotional sides to them, that could not be further from the truth. This docu-series profiles four young people from small-town Louisiana who want to make it in the industry, each with a story to tell. Daniel had a seemingly perfect life that was marred several years ago when his first love was killed in a car accident. When he steps into the ring, he feels he must live up to the town's vision of him as a hero. On-again, off-again couple Wes and Red are determined to make a good life for their young son, Jaxon, even though their relationship may not last. Danger, who longs for his parents to be proud of him, has one goal: to make it as a professional fighter. But he is torn in many directions when family issues arise - issues that he fears may cause him to lose focus on his career.
