...I was surprised by how much humanity Vanessa L. Williams brings to a character that could have been a cliche.
What makes it worth a look is the wonderfully sensual dancing, beautifully choreographed, performed and expertly filmed by director Randa Haines, who declares herself a fan of ballroom dancing.
...you're pleasantly surprised. And the dancing is gorgeous...
Haines has a fine sense of salsa appeal, and makes Latin nightclubing look like a reason to live.
