Disconnect

Det är sällan som jag blir så träffad och berörd i en biosalong som jag blev när jag såg Disconnect, den grep verkligen tag om mig ordentligt och jag var till 100 procent investerad i varenda story när finalen började närma sig.

Even when the dramatic stakes are raised to the point of pounding music accompanying super-slow motion, potentially tragic violence, Disconnect struck a chord with me in a way few films have in recent years.

Characters are richly drawn and relatable, though at times stories teeter on melodrama. The overall effect, however, is powerful.
