...it takes only a few scenes to recognise that first time feature writer-director Lou Howe is the real deal.

...it's a great reminder of what movies can do, and used to do often, until American movies decided to concentrate mainly on spectacle and franchise building and leave characterization to TV.

...this movie is more journey than destination, and it somehow manages, while sticking entirely to Gabe’s perspective (...), to convey how exhausting mental illness can be for everybody who’s forced to cope with it.
