...lika skrämmande som obekvämt att beskåda, men samtidigt oerhört uppslukande och härligt adrenalinframkallande.

While Yelchin and Poots are worth calling out for their scrappy resourcefulness punctuated by perfectly timed bits of (much needed) black humor, it’s Stewart whose relaxed air of jackbooted evil captures and holds your attention.

Like many great siege movies, this alternates edgy conversations with bursts of action as both sides work out plans to break in or get away and then have to think fast when things go south. There are shock-gore moments a-plenty...

...a late night horror favourite...

You have to take the bad with the good here: Green Room may be too schematic to fully capture the essence of its characters' groddy milieu, but it's also economically paced, and gorgeous.
