New student Nina, arrives from America at Anubis House - a spooky old boarding school that is to be her home for the next few years.

Patricia concentrates all her efforts on getting to the bottom of Joy's disappearance with most of her investigations focused on new girl Nina.

Nina's new life gets even stranger when she meets a crazy old lady on the grounds of the school who claims to have once lived at Anubis House.

Amber is jealous when her roommate, Mara, helps her boyfriend, Mick, with his homework, but she flies into a rage when Mick gives Mara a friendship bracelet.

Mara and Amber's friendship deteriorates further; Amber tries to make Mick jealous by kissing house clown, Alfie.

While hiding from Victor, Nina accidentally opens a secret panel in the attic with her locket and sees a pair of eyes looking out at her.

Patricia persuades Mara to help her steal Joy's file; Jerome sets up a date between Alfie and Amber.

Patricia reports that Joy is missing; Jerome stirs things up among Amber, Alfie and Mick; Nina and Fabian visit Sarah.

Fabian and Nina manage to crack the code leading them to the staircase where they break open the 8th step to find the next clue.

Victor rigs a feather in the attic door; Nina and Fabian sneak up and find some strange wax cylinders; Amber blows up with jealousy over Mara and Mick's friendship and demands to change rooms.

Fabian and Nina take the wax cylinders to Fabian's uncle who runs an antique shop and find out they are phonograph cylinders.

Mara cheats on Mick's French test for him; Jerome sees and uses it to blackmail Mara into doing chores for him and Alfie.

Patricia sees someone hanging around on the school grounds and thinks it's a ghost.

Mick finds out Mara cheated for him and falls out with her; Amber finds a secret message written behind the wallpaper.

Amber and Nina go to the old people's home to visit Sarah and confirm that she is the girl from the recordings.

Patricia meets her ghost again.

Patricia meets with Rufus in the woods to discuss his plans for finding Joy.

Patricia spots Nina's necklace and recognises it as the Eye of Horus.

The teachers confiscate Patricia's phone and find out she's been in contact with Rufus Zeno.

The gang finds a black cat that escaped from the cellar.

The gang lets Patricia in on the secret, and debates the possibility that Victor might be drinking an elixir of life.

Victor installs security cameras to spy; Mara offers to help Mick.
