Motorbike Cops

A bike rider stopped for doing 51Kph over the posted 70Kph limit, earns an instant licence suspension for six months, a fine of 2435 dollars and six points demerit. Then a driver failing to give way almost causes an accident.

A P Plate driver without plates on his vehicle is caught doing 106Kph in an 80Kph zone and then get abusive towards the officers. Illegal use of mobile phones continues to be a problem, and drivers routinely ignore road works speed restrictions.

A speeder, not even driving his own vehicle, actually tries to persuade the officer that he accelerated to escape a van that was following him. Phone users in a school zone attract officers attention, and sadly the drivers still act indignant.

Not only do some drivers disobey the mobile phone rules, there are sometimes serious doubts about their ability to drive at all. Distracted drivers, known as "rubberneckers" are a constant problem when Police are exercising their duties.

A speeding young P plater in a powerful car, loses his licence for the third time in five months, and stunningly doesn't seem at all concerned about this record. Another young driver doesn't seem to know the rules when it comes to lane filtering.

The bike cops assist the local Police with the apprehension of three suspect violent home invaders. An old timer is pulled over for speeding in a school zone, and the drivers in the construction zone just don't get the message.

A seat belt stop turns into a drug stop, and the three suspects seem to have trouble following the simplest requests from the Police. Mark and Matt assist in locating a wanted man, and a small truck is stopped for bullying the car ahead.
