Älskar man fånig humor, typ fjärtar och discodansare med pistoler, så kommer man nog att underhållas...

...it's far more fun than most of the recent superhero efforts, lovely to look at (...), there's a great sub-plot involving the group's Karate Kid-style mentor, and the script offers astute and witty one-liners.

Mystery Men has moments of brilliance waving their arms to attract attention in a sea of dreck.

It's messy, but you've got to admit it brims with boldness. In other words, it may be pants, but at least they're worn proudly on the outside.

...this loving parody is steeped in comic book trivia and lore: The more you know, the more heartfelt your response to the film is likely to be.
