Paul Merton's Secret Stations

Paul Merton travels up and down the UK exploring its little-known railway request stations. There are more than 150 of them in Britain, and they require passengers to hail trains from the platforms in order to board. Over the episodes Merton makes several stops at these stations to explore the history. Along the way he speaks with other passengers and meets the people who live and work around the stations. His journey begins in the Scottish Highlands, where he uses the Kyle Line to reach Attadale.
