Self-made millionaire Massey Whiteknife attends a conservative Christian church and volunteers in the community. Iceis Rain is an award-winning recording artist.

Reluctantly, Massey takes a business trip to his hometown of Fort Chipewyan, Alberta to help a friend deal with tragedy and is confronted by his Mum about his plans to transition into Iceis Rain full time.

After a brutal car accident, Massey deals with a host of issues, but in order to keep his company afloat, he looks for a driver. Iceis Rain looks for a teacher to help her learn a fancy shawl dance.

Massey is trying to grow his company in the local mining community, and part of the plan involves bringing Iceis into the business.

Massey holds a yard sale to get a fresh start. Massey and his ex-fiance reminisce about high school. Iceis set up for a show in Fort McKay with The Party Hog.

Massey visits the Ben Calf Robe Powwow in Edmonton to prepare for Iceis' fancy dancing debut. A gay United Church minister gives advice on faith. Massey begins a hectic publicity whirl for the BECA Conference.

Despite not having the proper equipment, Massey discovers a truth about himself out in the forest. Iceis travels to Winnipeg to take part in the first two Spirit Powwows ever held in Manitoba.

Iceis is asked to be a parade marshal for Edmonton's Pride Parade. This is the first time Two Spirit people have been gifted this honour and Iceis is eager to accept. It's a day of unity and joy capped off by a killer performance by Iceis.
