Ray Winstone's Sicily

Actor Ray Winstone travels the length and breadth of Sicily accompanied by his friends Bruno and Matt. Ray and the gang head to the historically rich city of Palermo.

At a snail farm in Cefalu, the trio eat some snail eggs and smother themselves in snail cream. Later, a short road trip leads them to an idyllic vineyard and a wine tasting with Ray's old friend, Vito.

Ray meets up with his daughter, actor Jaime Winstone, and his grandson before heading to the summit of Mount Etna to experience otherworldly landscapes and some epic views.

Syracuse is one of Sicily's most beautiful cities, and also the place where Archimedes took the one of the most important baths in history. The guys try out some of the Greek hero's war machines.

Ray and his pals brave the heat to hear about Zeus, his wife, and a marital row that led to the creation of the Milky Way. On their way to Masala, the trio discover a mouth-watering secret.

Ray ends his grand tour in Cianciana. Far away from the tourist trail, the guys experience the warmth of true Sicilian hospitality, from shepherds and barbers right up to the Mayor.
