Dylan ist nachts als illegaler Graffiti-Sprayer unterwegs. Das passt der Sprayer-Gruppe des Viertels gar nicht und sie versuchen, ihn sich zu schnappen. Am nächsten Tag erkennt Dylan den Anführer der Gruppe in seiner Schule und offenbart sich ihm.

Die Leichtathletik-Schulmeisterschaften stehen bevor und Zoes große Familie ist extra angereist. Zoe versucht, ihre Beziehung zu Levis zu verheimlichen und vor allem seine Herkunft. Doch das Geheimnis lässt sich auf Dauer nicht verbergen.

Trainerin Macy gelingt es, Ava, Zoe und Lily zu einem Schnupperkurs beim Roller-Derby zu überreden. Die drei Mädchen gehen den Vollkontakt-Sport höchst unterschiedlich an. Die drei bekommen nicht mit, dass Dylan in Schwierigkeiten ist.

Levi bekommt Besuch von seinem Vater Jimmy, der vor kurzem aus dem Gefängnis entlassen wurde. Levi wird dadurch mit unterschiedlichsten Gefühlen konfrontiert und mit vielen offenen Fragen. Vater und Sohn kommen einander näher.

Lily widmet sich mit Feuereifer den Vorbereitungen für eine Party zu Reeces 16. Geburtstag. Es ist die erste Party von Reece und sie möchte, dass diese unvergesslich für ihn wird.
