...it knows how to please its juvenile audience and mildly subverts the original with daft character arcs.
The cast is appealing, the sets brightly colored and fun to look at, the mystery as lame and goofy as any featured in the many inexplicably beloved Scooby-Doo cartoons.
This is really a film for the tween genre (8-12), with plenty of bathroom humor and slapstick comedy.
