Filmen "Showtime" har satiriska ambitioner. Längs vägen får både omaka-snut-filmerna och dokusåpan några rejäla svingar.

You can guess from the casting that the movie will have energy and chemistry, and indeed while I watched it my strongest feeling was affection for the actors. They've been around so long, given so much, are so good at what they do.

There’s surely great pleasure to be taken in watching William Shatner play himself. And for about four minutes, Showtime makes the most of the opportunity.
