...it's a kind of stoner Road To... movie, with considerably more references to bitch-slapping than was usual in the Hope/Crosby franchise.
This is one of those movies where the inmates take over the asylum...
...Jay and Silent Bob is remarkably consistent and funny for what amounts to a 90-minute sketch comedy.
You may not be a Smith geek, you may have never heard of his View Askew production company, you may have hated Dogma, but there's still plenty here to enjoy.
...there are bits of distinct comic genius in this film...
