After marathon runner Suji's twin sister, Korea's top celebrity, passes away in an accident, Suji loses the light in her life; Suji gives up running to work part-time jobs.

Suji goes to Suah's shrine the day after the first anniversary of her death to avoid seeing anyone, only to run into the man who created idol group Red Queen -- Korea's top producer, Shinhyuk Kang; the man offers Suji a suggestion.

The ten girls come to 825 Entertainment, ready to become idols, but Shinhyuk makes an unexpected announcement -- the girls have just one week to prepare for a mock test; they must figure out how to work as a team despite barely knowing each other.

The girls start off the Survival Competition by splitting into two teams; the Debut Team, led by Youngjoo, prepares their song selection and outfits for the first challenge while the Rookie Team struggles to get it together.

The girls face an unexpected dance battle, after which the loser must clean the dance studio; Suji shocks the girls as she feels the rhythm and dances her best; Youngjoo notices that Suji has talent, causing jealousy and tension to sprout.

The day for the girls to show their performances to the world arrives; everyone looks forward to the broadcast, but the comment section only talks about the relationship between Suji and Suah, making the other girls green with envy.

Youngjoo wears out the Debut Team with her oppressive tactics -- especially Taeri, who gets a whirlwind of abuse from Youngjoo.

Suji learns from a reporter that Suah was seen at a hotel with Shinhyuk Kang just before she died; her faith in Shinhyuk wavers and her suspicions about him grow.

Jane goes missing and the Debut Team searches for her whereabouts without telling Youngjoo, not wanting to create any more trouble; an unexpected guest drops by 825 Entertainment.

The Rookie Team keeps Mint's spot empty so she can come back when she wants; Suji believes that Mint will return but Youngjoo can't believe her naivete.

Taeri collapses on stage and gets rushed to the hospital; the girls try to show their support.

Taeri disappears from the hospital while being treated; Suji and Shinhyuk look around and locate her in an unexpected place; Taeri confesses her pent-up emotions and makes an important decision bound to hurt Youngjoo.

The girls get a few days of holiday time; Sori attends her high school reunion, but her heart breaks when her friends ask her why she started working toward an idol singer debut with her 30s approaching.

The girls plan a Christmas party, but hard-working Jiseul must focus on her part-time jobs; Jiseul's Secret Santa prepares a surprise for her, but Jiseul finds out and becomes furious.

Yeeun and Jeewon, once best friends who always auditioned together, decide to compete against each other in the next mission; only one of them can remain with the Real Girl Project.

For the fourth mission, each team must shoot a music video; the Rookie Team slowly grows through Suji's leadership and preparation for the shoot goes smoothly; the Debut Team selects Sori as its new leader.

A day before the music video shoot, Haseo receives a phone call that threatens to expose her secret.

The Rookie Team is positive Jeewon is the one that stole their clothes for the shoot; Yeeun can't forget Jeewon's past betrayal and goes on the offensive.

Yeeun sees Jeewon's true feelings through the Debut Team's music video that talks about two friends who shared the same dream.

Shinhyuk drives through the rain and saves Suji at the last minute from being run over; he tells Suji the truth about Suah's death and his regretful confession shatters Suji.

The girls don't know what to think about all the rumors regarding Shinhyuk and Suji; the scandal spreads quickly and threatens the future of 825 Entertainment and the Real Girls Project.

The girls return to 825 and start planning for their final mission; Suji and Youngjoo come up with an idea.

The girls learn the truth behind Mr. Kang's departure from 825; they do their best to promote their final performance, but everyone gives them the cold shoulder until the day of their last mission.
