The Lure (Polish: Córki dancingu, literally "Daughters of the Dance Club") is a 2015 Polish horror musical film directed by Agnieszka Smoczyńska. It premiered in Poland on 25 December 2015, and was later shown in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition section at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival where it won the Special Jury Award for Unique Vision and Design. This film also won the Best Film award in Fantasporto 2016 festival. In 2016, American art house distributor Janus Films acquired the rights to distribute The Lure in North America, which will be given a limited release beginning on February 1, 2017.
