The one thing that remains constant in all of the Back to the Future movies, and which I especially like, is a sort of bittersweet, elegiac quality involving romance and time.

With its adult emphasis, PART III is fittingly the one installment in the trilogy that most resembles an old-fashioned movie, from its lovingly evoked western setting to its charmingly sentimental mood...
