Union Square

...the movie does understand how people want to love their families on their own terms, forgetting that their families may be the only ones who really know who they are.

With its small cast and focus on performance, Union Square promises to be a welcome showcase for Sorvino, and the early rhymes with Miss Linda are intriguingly open-ended.

...the film's success in capturing the tone and tenor of junkie life is what ultimately makes it tedious.
