Derik faces Gwonju while tracking down the Circus Man at Bimo Province Police Agency and immediately points a gun at him.

Gwon-ju gives her full attention to the call to find Ye-sook who went missing; Derik who recently joined the team as a co-operating detective finds a significant piece of evidence.

Despite Chief Gam informs Derik and Gwonju that the case has been closed, Derik suspects that Dongbang Hyun-yeop approached Chief Gam to protect Dong Bang-min.

Golden Time team stops raging Dong Bang-min and begins to an intense chase to find Saetbyul. After scuffling and hustling, Derek catches Dong Bang-min recalling of his dead brother.

Sonang villagers block the gate to keep the outsiders away from the village. Gwonju and Derek find out about a closed-down children's hospital in the woods nearby.
