The Sondheim/Bernstein musical makes an important change to Romeo and Juliet.
...there are great things in the movie, especially some of the songs of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, the powerful performances by Rita Moreno and George Chakiris, and above all Jerome Robbins' choreography.
Thrillingly shot, ...won 10 Oscars, more than any musical before or since. Not seen it? Time you did.
