The film looks like it was shot on the cheap, but that's all part of the conceit, and part of the charm.
As entertaining as it is moving, and occasionally hilarious...
An indie slacker-movie that imagines the afterlife for people who kill themselves.
They thought they were ending their misery, and it was just beginning.
What differentiates it from those movies is that it doesn't take place in the real world, but in a banal afterlife inhabited by persons who've committed suicide.
