Xanadu's muse-inspires-a-roller-disco story still strikes no sparks, but the ELO-fueled songs are as awesome as ever.
Well, Hollywood musicals have been made with thinner plot lines than this one...
...the ideal sort of camp masterpiece, one that...naïvely revels in its own essence because it doesn't have the foggiest clue of just how ridiculous it is, a point driven home by the hyperventilating Broadway production.
...viewed in the right frame of mind, this movie can be a lot of fun.
